ive got base spec (1.1 - 1.4) springs and dampers on mine and i find
it handles great, although i have no real basis for comparison since
its the only one ive driven its miles better handling than any other
car i have or have owned.
the ride is a bit harsh at times on bumps but i learn to slow down, as
for speed bumps, mine used to catch loads but lots of cutting and
bending of the exhaust and careful mounting has meant it will only
catch on really steep ones or if i go too fast,
the car looks great and would not want to be any lower or higher in my
opinion

i hope this helps a tiny bit?
