When my H4 was SVA'ed, the tester put load cells under each wheel but did not give me the figures. When my Beauford was IVA'ed there was no weighing done in the brand new Southampton facility, rather a lot of discussion as to how I had come by the figures entered on the IVA form - be prepared to justify everything! As regards to seating capacity, there is no chance of getting away with an H4 as a 5-seater. Even Old Q classified it as 2+dog! I tried to get away with the Beauford as a 5-seater but they got all the testers together and tried out how many could sit in the back with reasonable comfort so despite the fact that I had centre seat belts it was classified as a 4-seater. This would definitely make the H4 a 2-seater - my wife can testify that sitting in the back for more than 5 minutes whilst on the road is "not on!" I suspect the H4 is slightly lighter (if at all?) so it would be a good guide if the figure for the Fiesta is quoted.
