Hi Mags and welcome to the group! It may well be worth posting the chassis number here if you'd like to know more of the history of your new investment. For example I'm now on my second Quantum - I traded in my original one (which I had built at the old Stourbridge factory) after driving their then-current demonstrator and falling in love with it. I know my old Q is still out there and in use but not, I think, by someone who frequents this group so I've not been called upon to provide further history. I'd also suggest that, if you don't fancy the recommissioning work on your own, you might be surprised how many other Q owners are around and willing to help. I'm in South Oxfordshire and if you're passing through you'd be more than welcome to join me for a pint or ask complicated mechanical questions and then laugh at my extremely limited mechanical knowledge. :-)
