It depends when the car was built. QSC Enville Street identified a potential
problem and sent out letters in about 1998. They supplied reinforcing plates
for the affected cars and beefed up the area on the later cars.

Here is a picture of the plate fitted to my first 2+2 chassis Q2-227 built
in 1995.

Should  there be a sandwich plate on the inside of the boot on the
panhard-bracket  fixingbolts? Or should there be any other mounts?
On mine, there are just two washers, and the bootfloor isn't quite flat in
there. (In the space betweeen the boot and the rear bench, I
mean)
Is the area too weak for washers?
