My cousin who was nice and cosey in his Z4 persueded me to join him pretty much last minute at a novice trackday at Bedford.
I drove over to my mum an dads with the hood down (it didn't seem so cold in new malden sw london and it was a really clear night) on Friday night, apparently it got to -5 for a good part of my journey, the screen was freezing over with any bit of fog etc and again in the morning when I left at 6am for bedford!... thankfully the sun was out for the session and it turned into a crisp cold sunny morning. I went to my sister's on the way home in Banbury, went to leave - yes again in the freezing weather at about 21:30, engaged reverse started driving off her drive and the clutch cable broke! I had a spare, as I thought it was going.. Luckily it did it on the drive, Brother in law helped me fix it there and then, but i waited till the morning to drive back - still in the ice! the video is a tad long - don't feel obliged to watch it all! I do spin out after just getting it all wrong on the second lap.
