Hi I'm trying to resolve my problem with the front down pipe of the exhaust touching the sub frame. Everything was ok until I had a new patterned part down pipe fitted and now it rattles. I have the 1.4 CVH engine, presumably a 1986 version as per the registration. Does anyone know whether the standard 1.6 XR2 4 into 2 into 1 exhaust will fit the 1.4 head? or the 4 into 1 (similar to the Ashley) There seems to be either the Ashley or the Sportex versions. I only have about 170mm of clearance from the head to the sub frame. I don't want it too loud either! Cheers Tony
