That's only on much later cars than a H4 would be based on.
I think it only started on the Duratecs.

I think I read somewhere that the Zetec alternator is controlled by
the Ford ECU - you might want to check the number of connections on
the alternator first. I can't check mine right now, as the H4's off
being MoTed..........
