ALEX Welcome to the Quantum ownership. Although not an expert i believe the two tyre sizes you quote are standard escort ones and to fit the saloon without problems you do need to come down in profile i.e. 185/55 x14 ,195/45 x15 . Having said that i do know there are owners running the same tyres as you have without problems. Are you going to Stoneleigh kit show - where you will be able to see a variety of other owners. BTW on my salooon i ran 185/50 x14
