I think both of those sets of tyres are ones profile too big for the
Quantum.
Probably because they came from an Escort or later Fiesta rather than the
Mk2 Fiesta.
For the saloon and 2+2 195/45-R15 are about the biggest you can use.

Hi all
I recently bought a saloon which came with a set of 5 spare wheels and
tyres.
To start the tyres only rub on the front, the rear set seem fine.
The set of tyres on the were 195/50/R15 these would rub slightly on
lock but would rub on the very out side edge of the wheel arch when
going down a bumpy road.
The other set of tyres are 185/60/R14 and the left hand side one rubs
on the wheel arch its self after 1/4 of right hand lock.
So I am wondering what size wheels are people using? I think a set of
185/55/R14 should be ok though there is a 19mm diameter change from
the 185/60/R14.
