If this is de-ionized water as used by window cleaners then i don't think
i'd put that in an engine.
It's actually very aggressive, the reason it's used on windows is that it's
so pure that it actively attaches itself to any dirt and contaminants.
We do a water control system here at work and for deionized water we can't
use brass valves, the water attacks them, they have to be stainless steel.

I've finished the 2nd rebuild ;D
i fitted the bonnet yesterday and tied up a few loose ends,
a friend who has just started his own window cleaning business came
round and filled the cooling system with crystal clear pure water and
i added the antifreeze, once id checked everything a million times i
cranked it over to build up the oil pressure then filled the petrol
tank with 10 liters, once it fired up i was overjoyed by the familiar
sound of that exhaust I've missed so much,
once running I'm please to say nothing leaked (thinking modified
petrol tank and new fuel lines + all new rad hoses and new heater
matrix and new mondeo brake servo and brake lines) nothing stopped
working (thinking extensively modified wiring loom) and noting fell
off (could be any number of things )
it would appear everything works as it should including the new
variable fan thermostat controller and the indicator light i wired in
for it, so all that's left to do is MOT, only reason i didn't do it
yet is i cant get booked in just yet but hopefully next week,
i forgot how nice it looked in one piece, just needs a good wash

I've still got to tension the roof properly and get a new choke cable
since this one doesn't seem to work properly, teach me to buy the
cheapest, but other than that happy days,
