I paid around £500 with FJ a few months back, unlimited mileage not garaged and I'm 22. I consider that pretty good, Adrian Flux couldn't quote me due to the lack of garage and mainstream companies couldn't cope with the rarity (apparently the issue is if it got smashed they wouldn't be able to source parts, they'd have been fine with a Caterham or similar though?!).
The insurance is a major selling point.. My everyday car is a 306 1.4. It cost me £1300 to insure, that fell to £1100 on getting a job (no reduction on getting RoSPA Gold though, boo hiss). At renewal I'm looking at paying around £500. I can't pretend to understand how they calculate all this..
