Unlucky :( 

I've had a few non standard engines in cars over the years; 1850cc American 
CVH, CVH on twin 40's and a Kent cam, stage 2 CVH from a track 
car....currently running a 1.6 Fiesta RS Turbo engine with 1mm overbore, 
hybrid turbo, injectors and chip, gives around 175'ish bhp at a guesstimate

If I wanted an easy life I'd go with a CVH again on carbs, probably DCNFs. 
Some owners have ZVH's, others have full Zetecs and one particular madman 
has a Fiat engine in his (Hi Neil!) - it'll depend on your engine frame as 
to whether you'll need to cut and weld or not and your electrickery skills 
on adding to the loom if you go for EFi
