Dear All,

I am weighing up the future possibilities and wondered what your thoughts would
be. I am planning to take off the front frame of the 2+2 and get it blasted,
metal sprayed and multi powder coated as it's getting rusty. A process I have
used before and is very good. I have another CVH engine to put in and don't
feel the need to go bigger/different in that area. I build the car as
'standard' as it can be and it's been on the road for 13 years in daily use. I
want it to keep on indefinitely, aiming to run it for the rest of my life and
probably pass it on to my son. (But what are plans worth?)

But going to all this work and expense is it still worth modifying the frame to
take a Zetec in case things change in future or would that actually reduce the
'classic' or 'original' nature of the car even to the point of devaluing it in
the future?

So Mod or not to Mod, that is the question. What do you think?

Derek
