Well - yesterday was a great day! Adrian Flux insured it for £135 fully comp! Result I reckon.... I hitched a lift with a friend of mine to Cheshire - a journey of 64 miles from where I live. We got to Freds house and he invited us in for a very welcome cup of tea while we sorted out the details. The car looked fantastic with its matching yellow top now fitted ready for the journey. I paid the money we did all the paperwork. Freds wife was visibly moved to see the car go as I reversed it off the drive. The car on the road feels lovely and solid - only suffering a little from those slightly bigger wheels and lower profile tyres making the lanes changes a little skittish over the white lines and very heavy to manoevre at low speed. It ran beautifully and never missed a beat all the way home. the engine sounds nice but I really miss the rasp of the Magnex that I had on mine so I will be on the lookout for one of those from now on. A really lovely little car that I intend to thoroughly enjoy.
