Thanks for the advice. I've been looking on your Quantum website and
have been trying to study the Engine transplant photo's re: RS1800i
Zetec into Quantum 2+2 - Did you modify the frame purely by offering up
the replacement engine or was it done to "Quantum's" dimensions?

Remember the spaceframe is bonded to the bulkhead so it may not come
off easily, and can damaged the bulkhead gelcoat if you apply too much

Hi,
Does anyone know if it's possible to get hold of the front chassis for
a 2+2 which is designed to take the Zetec Engine?
I'm changing my 2+2 from a 1.6 CVH to a 2.0 Zetec and thought it might
be easier to just unbolt the existing framework and replace it with
the correctly shaped one, rather than cutting and welding the original.
Has anyone got one lying around they no longer need / want or want to
swap for a CVH frame?
