I know the modules can fail, though, i don't ever remember having one
fail myself.
Whereas blocked fuel filters i came across quite a few times.
One problem i did have was rust on the studs on the ignition coil where
the wires push over. (not the HT connector).
That gave me an intermittent cutting out problem.

That's what I thought originally. I removed the fuel filter &
cleaned the carb but still happened. The only filter I've not had
out is the one in the carb. The main filter looks clean enough. I
had put this back in after replacing the dizzy. This worked fine
for about +400ish miles (don't do a lot of miles)
I'll try a new fuel filter & clean the carb again. The reason for
changing the module is that is what had been mentioned by at least
3 recovery people & even a parts supplier (he didn't try to sell me 1)
