As far as a i know nobody has fitted a Zetec S into any Quantum (I think
there are some in Xtremes).
The main differences are:
Inlet and exhaust are on opposite sides of the engine.
Different engine and gearbox mountings.
Other than that the only problems are likely to be electrics, you will
need The Zetec-S loom, ecu and matching PATS key.
You may be able to solve some of the gearbox mounting issues by fitting
the Mk3 Fiesta mounting onto the Zetec-S gearbox but I'm not certain
they will fit as the starter moved to a new location on the Zetec-S.
It's still basically the same gearbox.
There may also not be any Zetec-S's without the hydraulic clutch, not
sure if earlier ones still used a cable.
Your existing driveshafts should fit the later gearbox.
It should fit no problem, i did measure one up for fitting in a saloon
and it was a similar size to the CVH.
The main problem fitting the silver top Zetec in the Saloon is the
width, it has been covered on here several times in the past.
A search back should find details.
