Hi Folks Just thinking ahead a bit.....When my clutch gives up (and I know it’s on its way out) I realise I’m gonna have to lower the gearbox a bit to clear the body work, what’s the best way of doing that? Can the sump take all the weight if I use it as a jacking down point, or do I need to put the jack under the gearbox to lower it and then support the sump on blocks while I have the gearbox off? I’m not looking forward to this job as I’ll have to do it on the drive......
