Hi All just to complete the story. On inspection having removed the axle it was in pretty poor condition, very rusty and all of the blots for the roll bar and dampers were rust welded to the captive nuts. I managed to find a MK3 Fiesta Turbo axle on e bay, refurbished it, treated and painted it and fitted that - all on the bolts actually came out and went back in!! (after copious WD) Cheers StevieCee
