The other day, when replacing the targa panel in the evening, I noticed
that the pivotting rear roof section wouldn't quite hold itself up
anymore....and the next day I heard some interesting banging behind my head
when either accelerating or braking. It appears that one of the two gas
struts which the support the rear roof section has become detached....
*problem*, the little ball onto which the lower end of the strut should
locate has actually come off (and is still stuck in the little cup at the
base of the strut). Can anyone please advise how to get at the appropriate
part of the inner nearside of an H4 in order to repair this?
Thanks!
