Hello everyone Thank you for your replies. I have ordered a throttle cable as suggested from e-bay. I only hope it is the right one. I realise of course that because of the small numbers of diesels it would have been unlikely that anyone would have old one hanging about. Well I will away now and await the footsteps of the postman.
