Kitty ( Q2 - 098 ) is now roaring like a lion and tearing round the neighbourhood. Thank you for your help. The throttle cable I ordered from e-bay seems to be the correct one but thereby hangs a .question. On the old cable (on the engine end) there is a half inch by one and half inch (approx) cylinder around the cable. Quantum have even seem to have thought it important enough to provide a plastic clip type bracket to hold it firmly against the engine frame. Does anyone know what it is? What its function is and if it is essential for something? Kitty has an 1800 turbo diesel fitted in the 1990`s If you know, please let me know as it driving me nuts.
