Escort RST all had LSD's in the gearbox.
On the Fiesta RST the LSD was an option.
If you pull one of the driveshafts out you can see the difference easily.
If the hole is nearly driveshaft size right the way through the diff and
you can see a smaller shaft running across inside the hole it's a normal
diff.
If you can see a small round hole right the way through it's a Ford LSD.
I've a feeling that the wheels do turn in the same direction with the
Ford LSD if one is turned but it's long time since i did it.
