I intend on taking out insurance when I turn 19 in April. I thought it'd be best to save up for a couple of years and avoid the ridiculous quotes I was getting at 17!
I haven't received any quotes for a Quantum yet as I wasn't quite sure who to contact first. From what I've heard though, it could be a cheaper alternative to the usual first time driver choices. I've also looked into classic car insurance, but most providers don't seem to cater for younger drivers... Martin, I would most definitely consider a 2+2 - especially if it's local like you say :) Can you remember how much he was looking for?
