The insurance may be a problem, but on the club website there us a red
Saloon for sale. Chris is a club member and I believe is based in Humberside.
There are some cars that may only be advertised in the club magazine or on
the club website, as well as the usual places.
Where in the country are you based?

afternoon, and have to say that I was very impressed with the car overall.
I hope that someone will be able to help with the query I have: as the car
is currently registered as a Fiesta XR2 (which I assume was originally the
donor vehicle), I would like to know whether this would affect getting an
insurance policy through the owners club, because it is currently
registered as a Ford. I understand that there is a special policy available
to younger drivers, offered by certain insurers in connection with the
club. Also, the car no longer has a 1.6 engine fitted, so is correctly
registered with the engine it currently has (a 1.1 litre ohv).
Any help with this would be most appreciated, and I look forward to hearing
your thoughts.
