Yes I am that man! we were going out in the 2+2 for an anniversary meal and up ahead the stream had flooded the road and I did not slow down enough and the engine got flooded and stopped just on the other side.Wife was livid, and the battery went flat trying to get it going.It was a quiet country lane and no street lights, so as we were phoning the rescue a kind man stopped and gave us a push start.On starting the man fell over and his wedding ring pinged into the undergrowth.Oh dear it's getting worserer and worserer.Lucky by lights of a passing car he found his ring.We got to our meal just 4 mins late.I must try harder to think.
