I'm surprised the engine runs at all as when you look in the engine bay it
looks like there is no wiring loom in there!
Will be great to see that car back on the road again as, like all your
cars, it is a credit to the Quantum name and of course your skills.

Armed with the replacement ecu i started the Zetec in the saloon today
for the first time in 8 years.
It fired straight up followed by a vast cloud of rubber smoke from the
engine bay as the alternator had seized and the belt was slipping over
the pulley.
Turning the alternator fan by jamming a screwdriver in it freed it
enough to spin again and it now seems ok apart from a grumbling noise.
Strange the alternator seized as the car has been in a slightly heated
garage all the time.
Now to get it over here instead of at my parents and finish rebuilding
the interior that i started all that time ago.

mapped.

I've one of his Megasquirt ECUs that is slowly going into my H4.

think Jim is just looking for a standard Ford ECU to plug in.
