Having owned a Q for 21 years (so far) I've had a fair amount of experience with various adhesives and methods. Do not use polyurethane or iso-cyanate-based adhesive or primer, instead this <http://www.innotecworld.com/products/sealants-glues.php?productid=24>, now available from various suppliers, appears to be a much longer lasting (perhaps permanent, time will tell) solution. Doesn't need primer to stay stuck, but that would give an uneven appearance on clear glass. My method is here <http://quantumforum.proboards.com/thread/522/quantum-saloon-full-rebuild?page=9> .
