Hans Hi. I used the older activator style adhesive a while ago. The activator base always worked its way off the glass. But last time I found there were new products and bought one that was a single tube applied to the window aperture. As the window is not etched I taped that up and applied a thin coat to the glass before fitting. That has lasted for years on two coupes so far.
The materials like adhesives keep evolving. I have not been looking lately. But try a search for professional car screen adhesives. What I found last time was just listed as a professional product.
