I think though, that most people reading the club mag will already have a Quantum (or several). So really Ebay or similar is probably your best bet to advertise it to a potential new Quantum owner. You don't have to put it on an auction, just put it on at a fixed price and if need be you can reduce the price every week or 2.

Just be careful if you sell it privately and cancel the listing as i believe Ebay can still charge you sale fees if they think it was sold as a result of the listing. Not heard of anyone actually having that happen to them but they did introduce a rule a few years back saying they could.

Thanks Jim. As mag editor it was easier to put the details there, after all every member gets a magazine but not every member has internet access and looks at our site (I assume). I should put the car there as well, as soon as I sort out the text and some pictures. I really don't want to put this gem on eBay, I want it to stay in the club. It is a high specification car with 2 litre Mondeo and many other goodies included, not forgetting the four new tyres I had to put on after Stoneleigh when I discovered that the rubber had perished on all four existing tyres. It passed the MOT with those tyres because they were looking only for tread depth! all that for only £4,000!

If anyone wants the detailed spec just ask and I'll mail them a pdf.

Cheers

No response to my ad in Quantum Mechanics. I am trying to sell my
very special H4 GTX as I don't have room for that as well as my
    2+2 and the tin top.

Sadly an ad will have to go on eBay or elsewhere at a silly price.
Why does nobody want such a lovely car? I wish I knew!

Last chance to haggle for the bargain of the century.
