Yes, that was where I connected up my oil pressure gauge on my H4. This was
a take off to the gauge, but in hind sight I'd fit an electrical sender if
I did it again.

If you mean the sender for the low oil warning light, then no as its
electrical and basically just an on/off sender. An oil pressure gauge will
come with its own matched sender unless it's a mechanical one which will
need a tube ran to it from a take off in the block or oil filter sandwich
plate. Never really liked that type as if the pipe gets damaged or leaks
you get oil everywhere.
