I marked them out, then used a hole saw in the corners then joined them up with a hacksaw blade close to the line. Finished with a file making sure the forward stroke was from gel coat side. Do not drag the file on the back stroke as it could pull at the gel coat and spall. Could put masking tape on it, may help protect it. What bonnet vents are you fitting? The factory used Astra Mk1 amongst others. I may be able to find the Q factory template if using Astra, to locate in original position.
