There have been 3 threads on this group since 2013 with H4 GTX in the title. So those details could have come from old messages in this group. You don’t have to log in to read messages from the group, only to post them.
I expect somebody is harvesting email address and subject titles from old group messages and using them to send out viruses or trojans. Google hide the email addresses nowadays but you can still find them on the old messages. As somebody else said, if you aren’t expecting an email, don’t open the attachments. The problem is this could be a breach in anything from an individual e-mail account/computer to the web site or e-mail hosts, anything used by QoC, or even Adrian Flux. I can only suggest that anyone and everyone runs the usual checks for viruses - you should anyway. Personally everything I use which is vulnerable is protected with anti-virus software, but I also run MalwareBytes on Microsoft kit (which is the most vulnerable OS and is one I try my hardest to avoid entirely) periodically because it seems to pick up stuff other software lets through. This sounds like the swirl pot in the tank isn't very good. The proper Fiesta Mk3 injection tanks worked well, but the aftermarket ones are not as good. Provably the easiest fix would be to add a swirl pot on the fuel feed within the engine bay, although this would probably require and additional fuel pump to be added after the swirl pot and before the injector rail. Not quick or that cheap, but it would still work should the tank need to be replaced again. Ahh! that's interesting. My Q (Last Chance Saloon) has had an intermittent fault which has only shown up on my last 2 trips to Stoneleigh. On the 2018 trip there it wouldn't hold the idle unless the revs were raised with the throttle. With Mark Cleminson assisting the carb jets were checked and nothing untoward found. I wondered if the idle cut off valve was playing up, and when I took the +ve feed off to it, and reconnected I got an HT jolt through my fingers. The coil was going to be an item to be checked this year prior to Stoneleigh, and your observation has made me even more inclined to think the coil may be the problem. Reminds me of the first kit I built (Dutton Melos)...... The engine cut a few times when exiting sharp RH bends, and first thought was fuel starvation - When I saw an oil leak from the coil (and of course replaced it) the fault disappeared. Things (especially intermittent) aren't always what they first (or second, or third) seem to be.
