Soon after I bought my H4 I changed the rear screen seal for one the same style
but the part that goes against the glass is at least an inch longer, doesn’t
stop all the water but at least there isn’t a massive gap like it was originally

Does anyone out there have a H4 that is completely watertight - particularly at
the rear of the car where the bottom of the windscreen meets the body?

I've been messing around with a variety of different seals for a few weeks and
I just cant seem to figure out how it should work.

The gap between the windscreen and the rear body just looks much too big to me
to find anything that would reasonably seal it?

The old seal was reasonably inflexible and perished but even with a like for
like new seal on there is a whopping gap underneath the windscreen.

I can't even consider taking it out in the rain or washing it or anything!
