Funny you suggest that as it was one idea a friend suggested when I looked at the conversion. He suggested using a rear axle from a gwiz for sub 5 mile or so hops or in traffic shunting, just using the original ice up front at other times or to charge the battery's extra(I already have a 280a alternator fitted due to the electric heater system booster)
