Hi mark Well it is fairly obvious your mate knows absolutely nothing if he is comparing the xtreme monocoque with a robin hood some torsional stiffnes figures for the chassis here for you. Westfield/ tiger etc around 12/1300 nm per degree Caterham 400r 2800nm per degree Quantum xtreme over 4000nm per degree. Added to the fact that after ten years plus the xtreme chassis still looks like new. Just ignore him and enjoy your car!!
