I think there are several ways of redirecting the non www to the www site. I’ve had to move our company site a couple of days ago and it seemed to be done on there solely in the DNS records. If you have access to those i can tell you what i’ve got setup.

As multiple web hosts are served from a single server there is some configuration trickery I need to master (probably including DNS settings) so the non www. will work like the primary address. The couple of times I've looked into it have me stumped so far! I have unfortunately had to allow TLSv1.2 as I found an important application that I use via that web server doesn't fully support v1.3, therefore anyone having issues may be OK now. I would expect old versions to flag the domain as the .club TLD wouldn't be expected, but these have been valid for a number of years now, so are OK to use SSL labs give the site an A rating, so more likely an issue locally.
