It's difficult to say what could be going on without seeing some code.

At this point, the best you can do is create a sample case and open a bug report on bugreport.apple.com

thx

I've been looking into this but I'm no clearer on a solution:

- what do you mean "not working"?
My rendering into the CV buffer just shows up as black (which is also my clear colour). My software can be used into two modes: integrated with QC and without and "without" works fine; thus I don't think there's a problem with my actual rendering. Plus this all still works on Tiger.
This behaviour is re-confirmed.

- any error messages in the console log?
None.
Zip.

- if you compile your app on Tiger and run it on Leopard, does it work?
I'll check again but from memory I simply ran my Tiger-built application on Leopard and witnessed the anomaly. I then subsequently tried things out having built using Xcode 3.0 and no difference; still the anomoly; but I'll check again.
App compiled on Tiger works on Tiger but not Leopard.

the Performer sample code in QC examples does work on Leopard and uses CVOpenGLBuffers too - have a look in case you're doing anything different?
Will do. I'll get back to you within 24 hours. Thanks for your attention.
Performer is different in respect of rendering via a display link. Mine doesn't render via a display link.

BTW: here's our original dialogue on this where you outlined the approached and I fleshed it out with some code:

Any more pointers?
