Related to all of this, if I specify a blend mode of "Replace" for my
billboard's image, should that image be rendered now matter what its
alpha value is (including an alpha of 0.0) i.e. does "replace"
effectively mean no blending should occur?
If replace means no blending then I think there's a problem. If my
image has an alpha of 0 then it won't show.
