Hello all, I'm in the process of developing a sigital signage solution with some mac minis, and Quartz Composer caught my eye after an apple store genius told me that's partially what they use to drive their signage.
So my question is... are there any existing solutions that we might be able to implement in a short period of time? Anyone know how the apple store creates and schedules all their content? Initially my solution is to render quicktime videos, and then playlist them with iTunes in full screen. Then its easy enough to use an alarm clock type software to trigger different playlists at different times. I'm just looking for a more elegant solution, that lets me add quicktime videos, but also still images, and maybe even dynamic content. That way maybe we can skip a lot of the extra time required to render out everything to quicktime videos. Am I fishing in the wrong pond here? Appreciate any help at all! Best, M.
