I'm having some trouble opening your attached file. I'll try to answer
the questions blind.
I don't seem to be able to make the strip more than 10 characters
long. I can tell the Iterator is running more than 10 times, but
only 10 characters are actually ever rendered. Can anyone tell me if
this is a limitation of Quartz Composer, or if I'm missing something
really obvious...
No, QC isn't limiting the iterator to 10. One thing I would check is
whether the items are getting drawn over eachother? If not, can you
see how many items are in the structure by hovering the mouse over one
of the connected ports which passes the structure data?
On an unrelated issue, I'm finding my messages take a very long time
to appear on the list. I posted a message to the list yesterday,
which I have yet to receive. I wonder if this is a problem other
list members are experiencing.
This wouldn't be the first complaint we've had about the mailinglist
software, but dropped messages are a real problem. I see your message
about JavaScript outputting a structure, was there something else?
