Hi, I've just installed Leopard and tried this, but I'm not getting the speed up I was hoping for. Although diasbleVBLSyncing is enabled and I've restarted QC, the frame rate is still roughly in multiples of 60 and the speed is the same as before even if I put the resolution right down. Is it possible that there could be a bug in (for example) the Core Image Accumulator or Kernel patch which causes it to only update once per VBL even when syncing is disabled? Or is there something else I can do?
I'd much rather not go down the thin app route if it's at all possible because I don't have much time to learn Objective C, and the instant feedback and ease of applying colour effects etc. are important in this project.
