Both of these examples get the frame out of QuickTime before passing
the image to QuartzComposer. Can you write the image to disk to see if
the image is OK before it gets passed to QuartzComposer?
Regardless, if there is a bug, please file it.

(I've tested Sorenson so far) to a composition, it fails to render
them on Leopard.
You can try the following Apple sample code, MovieFX, with a
Sorenson encoded file. It fails. It works fine with other movies
(H264).
On the other hand, QuartzComposerMatrix works fine with the Sorenson
movie.
Does anyone from the QCTeam have a clue ?
