Are you getting any errors in the console? I would suggest providing
a Sorenson encoded file which is failing and instructions to reproduce
the failure to the list. Perhaps it's something simple. Otherwise
you should file a bug.

You can try the following Apple sample code, MovieFX, with a

(H264).
On the other hand, QuartzComposerMatrix works fine with the Sorenson
movie.
