1. I have tried both the OFF importer and OBJ importer plugins for bringing 3d models into quartz. They both work great but when I try to open the compositions in quicktime, no model appears. I realize this isn't the place to be asking about the plugins, but I was just wondering if anyone knows whether these plugins are being disabled for quicktime playback by the system (and if there's any way to change that) or is it a problem with the plugins themselves?
Check the console (Console.app) -- they're probably not available in safe mode in QT. That's a function of the QC PlugIn system (to keep movies from executing arbitrary code on your system).
2. How do I get the hierarchy browser to appear???? It's always grayed out no matter what I do. Quite frustrating and I'm sure it's some simple slip up I'm making.
I've never seen this work in QC Leopard, so if it's possible, I'm interested in this too :) Perhaps they removed it, but left the menu option there?
