I'm having a hard time finding info about this in the archives... is there any known way to get around this? Are all plugins disabled in safe mode or just certain functions? I'm wondering if there's any chance of getting a 3d model into a mov file (via QC) at all.
All 3rd party plugins are disabled in safe mode, no exceptions. Some built-in patches are also disabled. I've made a small plugin that "unlocks" 3rd party plugins in safe mode for cases like this, but it's a dodgy workaround at best. PM me if you want to give that a go.
I don't know of any documented way to disable safe-mode checks in QT (another list poster had a similar problem earlier today).
