Okay my curiosity is piqued... Can you clarify what you mean by that a bit more?
I've written plugins that can load files relative to the QTZ using the undocumented compositionURL of the QCPlugInContext that gets passed to the plugin's execute: method.
I've also been able to get a QTZ which uses an Image Downloader with a relative path to work properly when packaged into an .app - I am simply using [QCView loadCompositionFromFile:qtzPath] rather than creating my own QCRenderer.
