Indeed, this would be ideal. There is an open bug with this mentioned.
I really really really want to see this fixed, as well as having a
video input patch that outputs a structure of the available video
input sources, and with an index input to select the appropriate input
you want along with some options procedurally through QC input keys.
That would be hot.
Thats all been reported/requested in the bug report.
I believe Michael this is indeed what you are seeing. Chances are
other sources will see the two devices.
