Hi guys,

I just can't see to get a handle on this....
I'd be really grateful if someone could come up with a definitive answer on
this one.

1. If I have a CIFilter patch containing code that samples from a pixel other
than the current one, what exactly am I supposed to do to make sure that the
output image is of the correct dimensions? Kevin Quennesson very kindly
explained this to me a while back, but it's still not behaving in the way I
expect. Also, when I mouse-over an output port of a filter like this (and this
relates to an earlier question), is it unimportant if the image in the tooltip
preview has a black border around it, or is this a symptom of some other issue
that needs to be fixed?

2. When I have a CIFilter patch that accepts 2 (or more) samplers (ie creates
multiple image inputs), and both input images are of identical dimensions, do I
have to add and extra ROI/DoD code to ensure that pixels sampled from both
input images are sampled from the same coordinates?

Cheers,

alx
