Apologies if this is outside the scope of this list, but I was jut wondering if 
anyone knew if it was theoretically possible to make a GL Height Field plugin 
similar to the one in the Developer QC Plugins example folder, that can be used 
within a GLSL Shader patch.


The example one doesn't render at all when placed inside a GLSL shader, I 
assume because it doesn't generate texture coordinates. There may be other 
reasons why it wouldn't work though. Anyone got any info on this?


What I'm after is a height field plugin I can apply lighting and textures to 
using GLSL, rather than using the fixed-functionality pipeline.
